So I am a prairie girl through and through. Anyone who knows me finds this really obvious. You’d think I’d stick out like a sore thumb in Nova Scotia. Well, I’ve discovered that I just blend right in. The people are super friendly and fun just like Saskatchewan people and my time here so far has bee20130901_111354n amazing. The only thing I’m not liking are the hills and the rain. Not really the rain itself, but the fact that I am very unprepared for the rain. School is going great so far and I’m meeting so many different people from all over within my program.20130901_111324

I have to laugh about my fellow journalism students. We all had the same basic premise for applying and taking journalism as a career. We’re friendly, out-going, adventurous. We want to travel with our degrees, and we want to make a difference in the world. Now if anyone from my class reads this, they must admit that if they don’t fit all of these criteria, they fit at least 4 out of 5.20130901_111243
